Proudly introducing our first MF® leather belt, exclusively built by our friend John V., one of Joe’s dads, from VEB Leather.
Handmade by VEB Leather from thick full-grain vegetable-tanned cowhide, each belt is hand-dyed and finished with a nickel buckle, hand-set copper rivets, and a decorative vintage French 10 centimes “Lindauer” coin, minted between 1914 and 1946. A classic in numismatic circles, these coins circulated in France through both World Wars. Each piece also features hand-stamped VEB, MF®, and American flag maker’s marks.
The coin detail is a stylistic nod to the tradition of WWI-era “trench art”, when soldiers often repurposed coins and scrap metal to customize personal items such as belts, rings, and keepsakes.
Available in three leather options:
• Natural vegetable-tanned leather
• Seal Brown tea-core vegetable-tanned leather
• Black tea-core vegetable-tanned leather
Classic slim 1¼” belt width.

How to Measure Your Belt Size
The best way to determine your size is to measure a belt you already wear.
Lay your best-fitting belt flat and measure from the center bar of the buckle to the hole you currently use. This measurement corresponds to your VEB Leather belt size.
Example:
A 34-inch measurement = size 34 belt.
These belts are true to size, and the stamped size corresponds to the center hole when closed. Each belt features five adjustment holes for flexibility.
Quick rule: belt size is typically 2 inches larger than your pant waist size.
Example: a 32 waist usually wears a size 34 belt.
Sizing up slightly will accommodate the bulk of heavier pants or denim.
